In my opinion, this is the highlight on Abyss In B Minor. Matador is trashy, noisy and absolutely amazing. Stoned pop music quite inspired by bands as Queens Of The Stone Age but with that Benelux touch of synths and something that can't be defined. Silver Lines is rocking a bit harder than most of the tunes on Pay The Piper, but it's great nonetheless and it's probably what I've listened to the most this year. Out Of Our Minds is probably the album I remember the best because it's a bit bizarre with the viking theme and the lyrics but the songs here are very well-written.

Black Box Revelation - Part Of Me A heavily distorted bass, heartfelt vocals and some trashy attitude - there is your dose of melodic garage trashy rock music. Definately something for itself. Shadow's Keeper is represents the record brilliantly - psychedelic, a bit pop, a bit noise and shit loads of cool. On the b-side, Month Of May, they've apparently gone rock?!

Catchy as hell, cool guitars, and not demanding at all. How can this be one of the best of '10? Because is the best the first 20 times you hear it. Yes, that widget thingy worked. Although it wouldn't hurt if there were more "party" the celebratory kind, not the political one in Silent Alarm, it's still a fine debut album with a lot of passion and polish; it's hard not to respect, if not fully embrace, the intensity and integrity of Bloc Party's music.
