However, the good news is that yes you can dual boot XP and Win98 and yes you can have more than 1GB of physical RAM, however you can only use 1 GB of it in Win98 - so it is very important that you add this line in your system.

You can also set this feature using msconfig and using the advanced tab and setting maximum RAM to MB. Always BACK UP your registry before doing so run scanreg in case you screw up and get a blue screen on bootup and see your registry corrupted!

There is absolutely no reason to run Windows It's insecure, it's based off of DOS. Please do your PC a favor and upgrade to XP. What would happen is music videos would lock, and if I tried to run certain games, I would get some green strip on top of my screen and nothing else Had no trouble booting up, or running most Apps.
